This is one of the most favorable cards in the Tarot. The hand holds out both material and magical possibility. Opportunities are offered for renewal of our personal health, material prosperity, and deep appreciation of all that we already have. Take a walk through the woods or on a beach or by the riverside- really observe the miracle of the natural planet all around you. If the Great Outdoors can’t be done, try a museum to appreciate the material result of human creativity and craftsmanship. Maybe engage in some craftmanship yourself.

Engage in activities that ground you in your body and your five senses. Dance, work out, prepare and eat a great meal, garden. If there is something you want to buy, think about the money you would be spending in purely practical terms: how much labor did it take to get it? How much enjoyment or use will the purchase give you? Make the decision based on those considerations.

And rejoice- we live in a world where money can be made and spent, where the sun comes up every morning and the flowers come back every spring. This Ace is a call to appreciate the abundance and wonder of the Earth.
